The room temperature is 21 degrees Celsius and I am wrapped in 3 layers of warm clothes. Any good reason to stuff a hot water bottle between me and the back of my chair?

Two scientific explanations come in handy when googling the symptom of feeling cold. Hypothroidism apparently causes a persistent feeling of cold. Alternatively, I might be suffering from anemia.

It could just be an expression of discomfort, anxiety, fear or a combination of all of them plus more of the same.

What is the water bottle for?

Am I really feeling cold?

What is the part of me that feels cold?

What does «the cold» stand for?

Ever since putting the water bottle away, what has changed, if at all anything?

What else do I use as a water bottle or its disguised twin?

Why cold?

I am participating in the Playing at the Edge — Creative Adventures with the Inner Critic programme by Steve Chapman an Simon Cavicchia, which undoubtedly has the potential to make me feel «cold».

Curious, I open the door and step outside in my socks. It is cold and it is snowing heavily. Oh yes, that is what the real cold feels like.

So what type of cold was I experiencing just before?
