#30: The Hidden Script

There was a time when I relied on it. I was hiding it under my desk in the office. Right there. Always ready to hand. So universally applicable. Always putting things into perspective.

Whenever needed, I would pick it up, flip through the 121 pages and randomly select one of the dialogues.

That’s when I would slow down. Change the pace. Take my time. Put aside what would have gotten me so excited in the first place, just a moment earlier, the reason why I would have grabbed the script from under my desk.

It was my secret medication. 100% effective.
