#63: Nowhere Land
What’s it like? It feels lighter, no doubt. But then, aren’t we meant to carry some sort of burden all the time?
That weight helps us stay grounded. The more we carry on our shoulders, the less likely it is for us to take off. Wouldn’t we just fly away to nowhere land?
I have been thinking about the expression of being «radically human» lately. Would that require me to naturally liberate myself from this burden? Any burden? Free myself and go after the next mammoth?
Man, this sucks. I asked whether my contribution was still needed. And the answer was no. Unapologetically no.
Having crossed the red line I had drawn for myself, I now have to bite the bullet. Although it shakes me quite a bit in this very moment, I am confident that a few days down the road, I will look at it differently.
This experience will leave me with some food for thought, probably more than I had asked for.
It is now all about looking, and more importantly, moving forward.
I can fly now.
And by the way… which way to nowhere land?
