#7: Crime

Street lights apparently stand there for a reason. They help reduce crime.

That wasn’t what I had in mind when I took this picture today. I already wrote a post on light two days ago. Not that I would have any standards to defend, but that would would have been a no go.

Unexpectedly, I ended up on a Zoom call with my two South African buddies Werner and Mike.

That really brightened up my day, which is why I dedicate the bright light to them (and Omer who normally turns us into a team of four).

I very much need those powerful moments of joy every now and then. Don’t we all? Now probably more than ever before.

Every time we speak, it is pure joy. No agenda. No formalities. Nothing more than speaking «free flow». Werner and I slightly more than Mike, but that is just how it goes.

I sometimes wonder.

What to say.

Where to start.

And — you are right — when to stop.

«Free flow» is pure joy.

It doesn’t judge.

Instead it may.

Brighten up my day.

Thank you, my partners in crime.

This one is for you.
