… nor is it any easier pursuing your purpose!
How else would you want to legitimize your existence in a fast paced and cut-throat workplace?
I have this T-shirt, or rather used to have it as I have passed it on to my teenage daughter, that shows a world-famous cartoon mouse wearing a cowboy hat and on the back it says «it ain’t easy being a cowboy». Didn’t we all want to become cowboys when we were young? I certainly did.
Defending good against evil. Having high morals. Speaking your mind and speaking the truth. Always being on the side of the right. Being honest. Being respected. Always winning… and riding off into the sunset.
It might just be that winning part that makes us feel uncomfortable. We would very comfortably sign up to the rest, wouldn’t we?
I completed the altMBA19 program exactly 18 days ago. Not that I was counting days. Never. How dare you think that! How dare I!
I haven’t shipped in 18 days. Unimaginable just a few weeks ago. I got used to shipping. I really did. And I felt good about it. No, not just good. It felt amazing. So what is holding me up?
